Waste management
Every year, over a million fly-tipping incidents are recorded in England alone. It costs councils — and taxpayers — millions to clean up. Hiring a skip is one of the simplest ways to make sure your waste is handled responsibly.
What happens to your waste?
When we collect your skip, it goes straight to a licensed waste transfer station, where it’s sorted by material type:
- Wood is separated for recycling or biomass energy
- Metals are extracted and sent for reprocessing, minimising landfill waste
- Plastics and cardboard are recycled where possible
- Remaining waste is disposed of responsibly at licensed facilities
No shortcuts. No fly-tipping. Just proper, legal waste disposal.

Reasons to dispose of waste properly
Avoid hefty fines
Dumping waste illegally (fly-tipping) is a criminal offence that can lead to an unlimited fine or even prison. Using a licensed skip hire service means your waste is handled legally, with a full paper trail.
Protect our planet
When waste goes to landfill unsorted, recyclable materials are lost forever. Proper waste management means wood, metal and plastics are separated and recycled wherever possible.
Keep your neighbourhood clean
Fly-tipped waste attracts more dumping and vermin, and damages property values. Responsible disposal keeps your community clean and safe for everyone.
Save money long-term
Council fines for improper disposal far exceed the cost of hiring a skip. A small skip is an affordable, stress-free way to handle waste from any project.
Maximise recycling
We take your waste to licensed facilities where it’s sorted, with wood, metals, plastics and cardboard recycled wherever possible.
